UNEMPLOYED WORKER SURVEY RESULTS By Dorothea McArthur, Ph.D., ABPPNational Public Radio reported on December 15, 2011 the results of a survey showing that forty percent of the unemployed workers in the US would be willing to move to another state for the purpose of being able to secure a job. Some would leave their family, while others would move with their families. Many unemployed people want to work so badly they would be willing to take an entry level job or work nights and weekends, just to be able to work. People not only want to earn money, they also want to have a sense of accomplishment and a feeling of belonging within a community, which come from having a job. _______________________________________________ home | article of the month | featured therapist | news & events
